Since I know a lot of authors who write things like this (and because Dave and James are awesome), I’m boosting the signal for this. This anthology will be published through Immortal Works. You can read more about the specifics over on Dave’s blog. I plan to submit a story.

Trace the Stars – January update
We received quite a few submissions for the Trace the Stars benefit anthology we (myself and Jaleta Clegg) are putting together. We have winnowed the first batch down to the 11 we want to use, which fills up about three-quarters of the planned available space in the anthology.
Since this is the first one we are doing, we didn’t know how quickly we would fill up, so we set the submission deadline to July 31, 2018. It looks like we may very well fill it up long before that deadline. The accepted stories are all different and will make a solid anthology.
If you want a sneak peak, please come to the anthology preview on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 6pm in the Boardroom at the Provo Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. We will reveal the cover art and many of the authors whose stories will be included. You can see more details on the event here.
Hot & Spicy Cinnamon Oreos

These are totally awesome. They taste just like Oreos and the cinnamon candy hearts combined. Some of the flavored Oreos Nabisco has concocted are not very good, but these…THESE hit it out of the park. I will be bringing some for the green room at LTUE.
I have two events at LTUE!
So, I now have a final schedule at Life, the Universe, & Everything in February.
Thursday, February 15
Cedar (Provo Marriott), 3pm – 3:45pm
Joe Monson (M), Bobbie Berendson W., David J. West, Devon Dorrity
Appreciating and learning from the art of a highly accomplished master in science fiction and fantasy.
I’ve known Bobbie for years. She’s an awesome artist and will bring a lot to this panel. David is a fun guy, a great author, and also knows his stuff. Devon is an amazing sculptor and artist. We are planning to make this panel very informative, so please come and learn about one of the best science fiction, fantasy, and horror artists around.
Saturday, February 17
Boardroom (Provo Marriott), 6pm – 6:45pm
Come see the cover reveal and initial author announcements for the first LTUE Benefit anthology, Trace the Stars. The themes for several future anthologies will be announced. A Q&A session follows the announcements, with informal mingling and refreshments.
Wayne Barlowe panel at LTUE
I’ll be attending Life, the Universe, & Everything in February. I’m currently on only one panel, as the moderator:
Thursday, 3pm, Cedar
“Strange and Fantastical: The Art of Wayne Barlowe”
Come and enjoy the panel! I plan to enjoy it. He’s one of my favorite artists
